Where are you??

I'm lost of all inspiration....
Literally, I can't inspire myself to do anything lately, our house is so overdue of loving that its depressing me, I can't figure out what look to do for my next make up tutorial, blogging is very difficult as I'm stuck in this baron place!

Ever feel like you want to do something but you just can't, our living room still looks so bare after xmas decs were taking down, and I can't actually manage to get myself to make it look cute again, I just sit in our office or bedroom and avoid that room, Fiancé doesn't see it, guess that's a man thing. He just see's it's tidy so it's all good!

My plan for Friday afternoon is to make our living room somewhere that I want to spend time, Maybe print some new pics off to refresh? or just move some things around, it also doesn't help that it's such a dark room in the winter, maybe I need to work with that rather than trying to change it?
Like, make it all cosy instead of airy, because airy does not come across in a dark room!

Seeing my list the other day, reminded me that if I want to do anything I need to kick myself up the bum once in a while to get it done!

I'm just soooo good at procrastinating though!

How am I doing?

Ok so on my old blog I did a 26 before 26 post, I am now nearly 25 years and 4 months old and want to see how well I am doing with the list....


1. Photos shoot with fiancé Not yet, maybe a good birthday gift?
2. Learn to crochet Soo close!
3. Complete a patchwork quilt Got sidetracked by jewellery! 
4. Have a mediterranean garden Definitely getting there
5. Read a book a month Not even close!!
6. Knit an item of clothing Think I may have overstretched myself here!
7. Grow my hair Well it's definitely longer than it was
8. Become a make up artist Ooh yeah!
9. Get drunk on NYE! Mission accomplished!
10. Fill the massive photo frame that has been empty for a year! No, but it has been put up as inspiration!
11. Make decent cookies Still get in a doughy mess
12. Stay brunette the whole year Have gone red, oopsie!
13. Book wedding venue Hopefully soon
14. Talk to bestie every day Haven't managed this since we both got new jobs, but I don't feel we say any less!
15. Learn spanish :(
16. Take more photos Definitely :)
17. Wear every pair of shoes I own getting there
18. Do at least 100 blog posts this is the 28th
19. Be out of overdraft have a plan in place with help of the bank (actually very friendly people!)
20. Go ice skating Ooh forgot about that one!
21. Eat outside whenever possible Farrrr to cold recently!
22. Learn how to use my dslr Well, i now know what a macro setting is!
23. Own a piece of MAC make up! Still no :(
24. Get back under 8 stone Gone up actually, balls!
25. Get eyes tested! Definitely needs doing!
26. Cook at least 3 times a week Must try harder!!


All in all a bit poor considering I'm 1/3 of the way through!

Do you all keep track of your goals or just forget them until the year is up like I normally do!?

In sickness and in bed

Hey guys,

Sorry I've been MIA recently..those who follow me on Twitter will know that I've been ill :(

Severe throat infection, yuck. Luckily I have a lovely fiancé so I have been bought soup and wheetabix whenever I desire!

I'm planning to do a few make up tutorials next week for my Youtube channel, when I stop sounding like I've been smoking 60 a day that is!
Any requests for any looks or trends please submit them as I love inspiration!

Def going to do a mineral make up tute, loads of people seem confused on that one :) but any others, whether it be colours, techniques, celeb looks etc I will do my best to achieve!

Handmade monday

Hey all, been soooo busy this week, designing web shop, making more products and work work work!!!

Today I made a Chinese New Year card, my mum wanted one for her neighbour's so I tried my best!

I hope they like it!!!

I'll be spending my evening checking out Wendy's handmade monday and seeing what everyone else has been up to.

Ooh and of course good old Dancing on Ice, I think Jorgie is one to watch :)

Handmade monday

Gosh didn't last week go quick!!

Had to move my on line shop as I hated the customisation options, or lack of, shall I say, of my last host.

Thanks to the replies on craft forum I decided to move to Create, and I love it!!!
However now that I can customise absolutely everything I think it make take longer to get up and running!!

This week I've been thinking a lot about the direction to go in regarding my crafts, I would like a bit of advice if I may ask that of you?!
A lot of this would be specific to jewellery/clothes makers/designers but I'd like everyone's opinion if possible?

• Do you design according to seasons I.e spring/summer, Autumn/winter like the fashion world does?
• What about holidays, do you create a special collection for them, valentines, Christmas etc
• Have you thought about collections, like to you have a premium range and a standard range, could entice more customers?

Calling all on line shop owners!!!

Sooo close to be ready to launch shop!!!!

I am currently building it with Miiduu but am finding the templates very limiting and customising it is frustrating at best, I was wondering if anyone with an on line shop could give recommendations??

Have heard good things about BigCartel but would like to hear experiences before I pay to sign up!

Please other crafty/handmade sellers, help me?!

So anyone who stalks twitter as much as I do will have heard of #ZOMGbloggersbash and quite possibly like myself you would have had no clue what it actually is!!

Italy update...

So, I think we may have found our wedding co-ordinator, or shall I be all cheesy and say wedding planner? Ok then, I think we may have found our wedding planner!!!!!

She's done lots and lots of weddings in Italy and has soooo many contacts, she makes me even more excited every time I speak to her!!

We're going to meet her next month to discuss in fine detail so between now and then I have to draw up a list of EVERYTHING I want!!

Hehe!!!

I'm still in awe of those dresses I posted yesterday :)

I'm taking my mum to the wedding show on the 5th Feb at the Excel in London. She's the only one I know who won't be bored when I'm trying on my 50th dress!!

Wedding Dresses???

So now that we've decided to get married in Italy, I am free to follow my dream of having 2 wedding dresses :)

One for our civil ceremony and one for our blessing.

I also want them to be completely different so I was thinking along the lines of these for the civil ceremony...

Can go a bit more funky and fashionable for that and then something more fairytale for the blessing....
